Balsamic Feta Filet Mignon2014-01-09
- Bacon (applewood, maple, regular)
- Filet Mignon
- Steak seasoning
- Balsamic Reduction
- Feta Cheese
While your grill is heating, use a toothpick, wrap your filet with your favorite bacon
Season your steak with your favorite spices (Montreal Steak Seasoning always does a great gob)
Place your filet over the hottest part of the grill to sear the juices and flavor in. 1-2 minutes on each side
Once seared, move to a section of the grill that isnt as hot, and finish cooking the filet till it is cooked to however rare or well you prefer.
When you flip the steak the last time, top the steak with feta cheese, and drizzle some balsamic reduction on top.
Remove from the grill when done and enjoy
This is paired great with sweet potato fries and a grilled cinnamon apple.
